Good: I also appreciate even though we arrived almost four hours ahead of time for accommodation so I could park the car in the reserved parking lot. There was not even a problem with our accommodation. Room smaller, clean and sufficient for us.

Good: The hotel was great! The room was very bright, there was everything for a good stay, the neighbors were not heard, so I rested peacefully in the room. This hotel is worth these funds. Also, the excellent location of the hotel makes it convenient to travel around the city, especially for those who like walking. Bad: I arrived earlier, before that by changing the time of arrival, but I did not see that the time had not changed. So I arrived at the hotel, but I was told at the reception that it was impossible to check in until 2 hours ago, and the time in the application has not changed. So, check-in and check-out for everyone is unchanged. It made me uncomfortable because I had to wait 2 hours after a long journey with my suitcases. I don't blame the hotel more than my mistake, but it would be better if there were other solutions for such cases than to sit and wait tired after a hard journey.

Though the hotel looks aged, it is very clean and air-conditioning functions very well. The ceiling of my standard single room is high and it makes the room more spacious. The wifi signal is strong. The buffet breakfast is tasty and with many food to choose. The staff are friendly and efficient. Its location is super. However, the noise of flushing in neighboring rooms is noticeable while human noise is still minimal, possibly it is related to the pipes in the building. With such a price and facilities, it worths.

Good: We like the location its in the center of gyor and near in some places to visit,and staff is nice,were planning to book again.

Good: Very good location in the city center, nice personnel, interesting building - combined from different buildings. Public parking near the hotel paid in weekdays between 8-18.

Good: The hotel is centrally located, the staff was very helpful, the room was normal size. The parking places in front of the hotel were free between 20:00 - 08:00 so for an overnight stay you didn't have to pay extra parking. Bad: The mattresses were softer than I like but it was not a really problem.

Good: Great location, big room, 2 bathrooms, good breakfast Bad: The parking of the hotel was not clearly marked so I parked in a public parking on the street. Luckily I arrived late at night and left early in the morning, but for longer stays it should be clarified with the hotel staff

Good: Nice hotel situated downtown Gyor. Parking in front (public) or underground across the small street(but this one with reservation and high priced). Hotel itself is just a bit outdated but all good and up the purpose. The staff is not extremely friendly but ok. Breakfast is fine. Bad: I wasn't informed that the parking in front of the hotel was free over weekend and I reserved an underground parking place.

Good: Close to the city centre. They have the best restaurant where you can eat in Gyor. The food is delicious, the wine is of good quality and the prices are just as in any other restaurant. The room was comfortable and the neighborhood quiet.

Good: We slept there on our road trip. Just can't be better and more central-after long trip was nice to walk around in this charming city centre and to get some tasty food. The beds were comfortable with 2 soft pillows. Clean rooms. Definitely will use it again.* p.c. The lady on the reception recommended a paid parking close by- ar 4.5 euro, which was great. Bad: Great for a day or two.

Good: Optimal location Very clean Nice view to the beautiful and iconic Imperial building from my room on the 4th floor. Air conditioner worked perfectly and was quiet. Mini bar is a silent one and one can store fruits, drinks etc.in there. Bad: As is almost always the case in Hungary the sense of hospitality is missing. I was given a late check out (at noon instead of 11 am) but the staff were unaware of it in spite of me asking the receptionist to make sure my key is reprogrammed so I can enter the room easily at 11:30 am. I was called and door was knocked when I was in the shower to checkout. This unnecessary drama is typical in Hungary where empathy is often lacking and the locals think they are out to educate tourists (I travelled to places many of them never even heard of so they shouldn't assume I don't know what check out time is). There are no free water bottles in the room though it is July and the temperature is often in the high 30's celsius. These are not major problems but they are enough for me to deduct one star.

Good: Very clean room, everything you need, clean towels, two each. Very nice reception staff. You can enjoy a cold beer, a wine, a water upon arrival, even if it is after midnight. The room is very well soundproofed. Bad: The toilets should only be replaced for their shape, which is not ready for 2023

Good: big room, comfortable for a family of 4. beautiful view from level 6. Bad: that our 21-month-old could open the room door as the internal lock didn't work and the balcony door dis not have any child lock/safety lock on it. We asked for the room to be cleaned on day 2, but only beds were made. all rubbish was left there, which i even put in bags and together. yes, it was smelly as we had food and nappies.

Good: We visited Györ for our friend's wedding and so the central location of the hotel helped us a lot. The staff were absolutely brilliant, very helpful and polite. We were even provided with umbrellas which was the cherry on top. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Györ!!! Bad: Everything was amazing, I have only great memories from my stay at this hotel.

Good: The hotel is in the perfect location of the city centre. The breakfasts were really amazing, a plentiful selection of delicious foods in a nice dining room. The environment of the hotel is really pleasant and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Bad: Some of the hotel's equipment is quite old and in need of renovation - which was happening during our stay. We were disturbed every morning by the sounds of drills and hammers from the workers above us, but that is quite expected and I'm sure that after the renovation is complete, the hotel will be perfect.

Good: The 1970s fitted room provided high standards of comfort in all respects.The fittings were functionally perfect- large empty fridge, huge safe with very simple operation( no pushbuttons),plenty of coathooks on wall,storage in bedside cabinets as well as wardrobe. The aircon was powerful and fully controllable,and there was a large french window which kept out most of the traffic noise . For its size ,the bathroom was perfect,with a bath ans good size basin.The WC had a most powerful flush. Reception staff were alert,polite ,and useful.The whole place seemed well run,and all the fire precautions appeared correct.The lifts are exceptionally fast. Bad: The breakfast had the usual problem of lots of strange fruit infusions remaining after the actual TEA supplies had run out.There were no croissants and on some days the fruit salad was tinned.Perhaps breakfast should be priced a little higher. I am VERY concerned about the renovations taking place on two floors.I suspect that the rooms will be “ modernised” in appearance but made functionally almost useless to me - i.e. no bath,scanty furniture,bad lighting etc.

Good: This time I have reserved a Standard-Room. The Superior-Rooms are nicer, but the Standard-Room we got was also quite nice. It is a little bit louder in the room, because they are located on the first floor. The bathtub is a little bit shorter than the ones in the Superior-Room and there is no kettle, tea nor coffee in the room. Receptionists are friendly and professional as always. Room was meticulously clean.

Good: Everything was fine and no negative comments. This is the third time at the hotel and every time was OK. The breakfast was very good and had a selection of breakfast types including the English breakfast. Good coffee and juice. The proximity to the city center was perfect. Very good parking slots are free in the front of the hotel and this is a plus. This was a perfect stop from Romania on the way to Germany, not far from the auto way, shops close nearby, petrol station on the way. Bad: Everything fine.

Very good position, everything is in the walking distance, we came during advent and Christmas Market is right next to the hotel. Definitely would recommend.

Good: Great value for money. Be ready part of hotel is not historical, but from the comunism era. We had room in this part and you can notice this. However this hotel was great value for money. Close to city center, Christmas market and river.

Good: We booked two nights at this hotel, for a city break. The hotel is literally 2 minutes from the train station, very close to the old town. Check in was really fast, Reception staff very polite and helpful. (On the 2nd day the magnetic card was suddenly deactivated, they checked the issue and solved it right away). The room was nice, clean and very comfy, with a small balcony facing the majestic Gyor City Hall, bathroom had all the necessary items. For those who need it, there's also a small fridge and a safe hidden in the cupboard. Overall we had a very nice staying and we'll come back again for sure. Thank you. Bad: N/A

Good: The receptionist Brigitta was amazing. She immediately explained how everything works with a friendly, caring attitude and even came outside to help me buy a parking ticket. Brigritta was really amazing. Bad: No free parking. But everything else was good. Some noise from outside, but that is expected in a central location and not the fault of the hotel.

Good: It was a 4 star stay at the price of a 1 star hotel. Receptionist was kind to give us the 5th floor room with a Rathaus view. Sunset and sunrise were glorious. Free parking between 6pm and 8 am right at the entrance. Great location in the centre. We could do all sightseeing on foot. Gyor is a pretty and charming town. It was a pleasant night halt between Germany and Romania. Bad: We liked everything. I would give 11 on 10. Thanks management and booking.com

Good: Cleanliness, good mattresses, super central location, reception desk open 24h. We called to reserve a parking spot in advance and were told we could find free ones in front of the hotel Bad: Our room faced the street side which was a bit noisy, although the windows insulate quite good against street sound. We had a good night's rest overall.
