Also the glasses and tea cups were not cleaned or replaced during the whole 3 days, even despite that I put them in a way to make it obvious that they are dirty. The glasses with obvious lip marks were just placed back in their place as if they were clean…. At breakfast on the weekend it was very crowded. And on Sunday they seemed to be understaffed, also nobody was out at the front to check who is coming in as usual. And seemed someone from the street came in because while I went for a next round, I came back to my table and a guy was sitting at my place, having my coffee etc. When I confronted him that it’s my place, he stood up ashamed, left the food and everything and walked out of the entire restaurant. If you are a guest who were just sitting at the wrong table, you don’t do this (also don’t sit at someone else’s place to start with), so it seemed it was not a hotel guest. But I told the staff and the next days they were checking at the entrance who is coming in, which is good.

Good: The room was ok, the breakfast was good and had many choices. It's very nice because the Metro is just next too the hotel. 10 minutes too walk have a big Mall Bad: Everything was ok for the price

Good: Very good location, straight next to the metro station. The room was nice and clean, had everything that we needed. Tasty breakfast, during the weekend there were a lot of people, but anyway there was enough food for everyone. The swimming pool and sauna was also enough to relax.

Good: This was my second time at this hotel and planning to return in the future as well. The staff was friendly and helpful, my room spacious and comfortable. The breakfast had a nice selection of Hungarian and continental elements, and I enjoyed the swimming pool too. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a metro station, one stop from Keleti rail station and 4 stops from Deak ter (city centre, metro interchange). It is easy to travel to the hotel even with a night bus.

Good: The location has easy access to the city centre via the Metro, which is just a few steps away from the hotel. The gym is great, it has a very small swimming pool, but the sauna is decent. Service is excellent. I made a wrong booking by accident, and the people helped me to claim the money back via booking.com . The refund has not been processed yet but I am optimistic. Bad: I would prefer a harder bed, but this is probably subjective.

Good: Very friendly staff. Excellent location. Bad: The beds were not stable as they moved back and forth. Otherwise no comments.

Good: I loved the location. It is near the stations and east to travel using public transport. It is also within walking distance to one of the red bus stops. The staff gave us excellent customer service and are so welcoming. Bad: I loved every thing about the hotel.

Good: Above average hotel. Stylish rooms. Good parking. Close to the stadium and the multipurpose hall. Quick access to transportation. Exceptional breakfast, with excellent products and great diversity. The gentleman at the reception, perfect! Thank You! Bad: I also chose this hotel for the bathing facilities. I didn't think it was right that they weren't accessible, even though I could have shortened our stay.

Good: Perfect location for attending an event at some of two arenas next to the hotel. Close to Arena mall and a metro station so you get to the center very easily. Rooms are big and comfortable, as well as the lobby. Overall great choice Bad: You have to pull some doors harder for them to close, there was a problem that a houskeeper didn’t close ours correctly so the room was left opened for a while. We got concerned about the safety of our luggage, but the security did their best to help us

Bad: Slippers were missing in the whole hotel, even one piece couldn't be find.

Good: The hotel is outside the main tourist hub, which means the prices are quite reasonable. It is also perfectly located close to public transport. Trams buses, trolley buses and the metro are just a few minutes walk. We could not believe how easy it was to get to any location within the city. A limited menu if you choose to eat at the hotel but everything we tried was top quality. All the staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. Tünde was especially welcoming and made us laugh. A real asset to the hotel. And if you are attending a concert at the Arena, you can't stay any closer than here. Bad: Honestly, we struggle to find anything negative to say about the hotel, staff or our stay.

There is also a metro station just 50m away, providing a direct connection to the city center in about 10 minutes. Functional business orientated hotel. Dont stay here for authentic Hungarian charm. You can walk to the centre but I dont lnow why you would. Ubers areive in mins and very cheap. Breakfast is excellent!!

Good: The hotel was really nice, the staff were brilliant, kind and super helpful. It was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. Bad: There was nothing to dislike about it. Maybe they could do with improving the pillows.

I enjoyed the addition of fried rice / noodles to the breakfast I was unfortunately next door to a family with a small child who cried a lot during the night - not the fault of the hotel but the walls are quite thin and the adjoining door, although locked, did not help keep the noise out There was also a small hole in the panelling of the bath which needs fixing

Good: It’s closed to the metro and tram station at a quiet area with many restaurants nearby. The facility is not new but clean. It’s great to have a kettle with tea and coffee bags. The bed is comfortable. Bad: The swimming pool water temperature is too cold.

Good: Overall, a very solid experience and a pleasant stay. The hotel’s location is excellent and well-connected, the staff were professional and friendly, and the breakfast exceeded expectations — diverse, fresh, and well-organised. Bad: However, two points are worth mentioning for full transparency. First, it wasn’t possible to select a double bed during booking, and when we asked at reception, the option was available only with an extra charge of €45 for three nights. Second, we didn’t receive fresh towels during our stay, which was unexpected given the otherwise well-maintained facilities.

Good: The staff and hotel management were exceptionally helpful. When our reservation was mistakenly cancelled through Booking.com, they assisted us in getting it reinstated. Check-in and check-out were smooth, the room was amazing, and the hotel’s location was very convenient, close to both our competition venue and the city center.

Good: I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, with a large, very comfortable bed, and the bathroom was spotless, with extra points for the bathtub. The Wi-Fi signal was strong throughout my stay. Breakfast was delicious, and I loved that there were different dishes to choose from each day. The location is extremely convenient, just a short walk from the M2 metro, Puskás Ferenc Stadion, and Papp László Arena—perfect if you're traveling for concerts or events in the area. Overall, an ideal accommodation for both comfort and convenience. Bad: One downside worth mentioning is that the walls are very thin. On the first night, there was a large group of children staying on the same floor, and they were quite noisy, as were the adults in the room next to us until very late. I eventually had to step out and ask them to keep quiet. This wasn’t the hotel’s fault entirely, but it did affect the quality of that night’s rest.

I immensely enjoyed my stay at the Danubius Hotel Arena. Very responsive and pleasant staff, a varied and rich breakfast, and a few steps from the M2 metro line entrance, allowing you to reach Budapest's city center in 15-20 minutes.

I really enjoyed my 4 nights at Arena The room was very nice , clean , the bed was very cosy and most of it very quiet compare to the previous time I came. Only kids running up and down in the corridor on the first night ( from 2 up to 5 am ) with loudly talks and slamming doors. Bathroom was big with a nice bathtub. The restaurant was lovely , enough choices with the breakfast and delicious. Close to the metro and a huge shopping hall. The biggest thermal of Budapest is very close to the hotel by walk and highly recommended ( Széchenyi thermals bahts ) The staff was very friendly A big thank you

Good: Our room was clean, the beds comfortable, the view from the window was also pleasant. We also got free water which was appreciated. Breakfast was delicious with a lot of options to choose from. Staff was very friendly. It’s a very good location if you go to a concert at Papp László Sport Aréna, like we did, the hotel is a 3 minute walking distance away from the Arena. It’s easy to get there from Nyugati. Bad: These are small things that didn’t bother me too much. We had to leave the window open all night because it was quite hot in our room. You can hear the noise coming from the other rooms closeby. There was a toddler in one of the rooms and we could hear her screaming very late in the night and quite early in the morning, she woke us up. Also, if you go down for breakfast, don’t try hot chocolate. It basically tastes like water.

The room was clean and tidy. There were complete drinking facilities in the room, a refrigerator with 1 bottle of drinking water, a beautiful view, and a very comfortable bed. It's only 1 stop from Keleti train station on the M2. The reception staff were friendly, but unfortunately the pool and sauna were closed for renovations on the day we stayed. The breakfast was good and the place was spacious. The restaurant staff, I hadn't finished my coffee and it was in my hand, just looking to collect the container.

Hotel is big, a little rundown, but impeccably clean, has a nice lobby bar, a huge restaurant (with an excellent full breakfast buffet!). Rooms are comfy and the service from all the staff was outstanding!

Good: I did not experience the breakfast. The location I booked by accident, it was the wrong train station! The pool was very clean and quiet. The staff at check-in were excellent. Very patient, as I was having great difficulty with my phone. Bad: Coming from the Metro station, the entrance to the hotel was not very clear or well lit. The area is a little bit rundown and I was a little bit nervous.

Good: An excellent hotel for a trip to Budapest. It's conveniently located near the M2 metro line, offers a rich breakfast, has pleasant staff, and provides excellent WiFi. This is what a traveler needs.

Good: Great value for money, spacious room, great breakfast, friendly staff, swimming pool. Bad: Swimming pool was always crowded, people jumping, running, splashing water everywhere. It was hard to find 15 minutes of calm to swim.

Good: I was traveling for work and the hotel totally fulfilled my expectatons to have a night stay, work and have everything at one place, including restaurant, spa, relaxed room, etc. Everything was fine and according to description. Very good mix of the price and quality. Very nice bed and pillows, the bathroom was also great, and the view from the balcony as well. Bad: Everything was good, nothing to add.

Good: We had a relaxing stay in very good conditions. The room was reasonably spacious with a very comfortable bed. The room was cleaned and the towels were changed every day. The breakfast was more than enough and very varied. The breakfast room was huge and there were a lot of employees clearing away and replenishing the products that were running out. Bad: The bathroom was incredibly small and cramped, a tiny built-in sink and an equally tiny bathtub squeezed between the sink and the toilet. You struggled to shower in the tub which was separated from the rest of the room by a half-pane of hinged glass.A more spacious wardrobe was needed.

Rooms were clean, just what we needed for a 3 days stay. The location is perfect, being next to arena and metro, bus and tram stops, so that you are connected to the whole city. Have not checked gym or restoran though, so no comment there

Good: Hotel was super ideally located for a concert, on all transport routes. Bad: Very noisy spot, but thats all. Everything else was great.
