Amazing hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff and yummy complementary snacks at the counter. Big gym and cozy sauna. Nice location, near the arena mall.

Good: The staff are so friendly the facilities are fantastic. The food is phenomenal. The location is absolutely perfect. We’ve gone there for past five years. Nothing beats it. Bad: The third bed was just a put me up bed would it be nice to have three full size singles?

Room was comfortable and felt clean. It was a little dated and the bathroom is quite small but still a nice stay. Close to public transport links.

Good: Location was good for bus/metro and train station for arrival/departure. Bad: Temperature of fridge wasn’t cold enough for food/drinks and A/C was only good if keycard left in card slot. Water struggled to go down in bath after having a shower.

Good: Bar and lobby excellent although the food and drink is quite expensive. Good selection of food at breakfast and great service. Bad: Bedrooms are a little run down. Fridge in room wasnt great. Would have been nice to be able to leave the air conditioning on on the room to enable returning to a cool room after being outside in the heat.

Good: Stayed 9 nights whilst getting dental treatment as the hotel is used by kreativ dental for its clients. Breakfast was very good, huge variety of food available. Staff were all very nice. Excellent location for access into city as the metro station is literally next door, like one minute walk away. Bad: WiFi was a bit sketchy but that could have been my ageing IPad. Rooms are well equipped but a little tired. Overall though was a great stay and would certainly stay again as the price is very competitive

Good: It was one of he best locations during the events around the 20th of August, Hungary's National Day. The room with a view towards Keleti pályaudvar offered the possibility to see the fireworks, laders and drones show... gorgeous.

Fantastic Stay – Comfort, Great Amenities, and Exceptional Service! I had a wonderful experience at Danubius Hotel Arena during my time in Budapest. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing a peaceful retreat after a long day of exploring the city. I slept like a log thanks to the comfortable bed and quality pillows. The hotel's wellness facilities were a highlight of the stay. The indoor pool was pristine, refreshing, and perfect for relaxing laps, while the gym was well-equipped, making it easy to keep up with a workout routine. Above all, the staff made the experience truly special. Everyone I interacted with was warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a genuine smile. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest!

Good: I stayed there with my husband and my son. The bedroom was big enough with confortable beds, the toilet was small and everything was quite clean. Some towels were worn out, the robes were nice and the facilities quite good. A bottle of water was also gifted us. The air conditioning was very handy during the night, helping us to sleep well during the heat wave. The swimming pool was also very apreciated. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fine and very handy, considering there is no Cafés or bakeries nearby the hotel. The Puskas Arena metro stop is just beside the hotel and there is also tram nearby. It is good value for money. We spent 5 nights there and we had a good time. Bad: The worn out towels.

Good: Great location and connection, Metro is basically 3min fron Hotel entrance. Staff is friendly so feel free to ask them for advice about anything you are interested about the city. Great breakfast buffet. Bad: Balcony wasn't cleaned, small pool area, it was crowded so keep that in mind if you plan to visit it.

Nice breakfast with lots of choices and local food. Gym and pool inside the hotel. I went with my wife and daughter, Perfect for families

Good: Friendly staff, we used room service which was very useful with a young child. Swimming pool was good, slightly on the cold side, no deep end. Room was well equipped, fridge, kettle, hairdryer, safe, tv, aircon. Good windows keeping street noise out. We used massage service which was arranged for the time we needed. The hotel is encouraging environmentally conscious living too. Good food at the restaurant too. Bad: There was a slight issue with the drain in the shower which we reported at the end of our stay.

Good: I liked the pools shower, it was really convenient. also the breakfast was rich and it went from sausages to a tasty bakery with croissants and more goods. lastly, the beds were massive and extremely comfortable. Bad: the hotel was so enjoyable that I don't think there was anything I should complain about. maybe the pools temperature was colder than expected but, I don't mind.

It has a decent swimming pool for cooling off on a hot sunny day. There are enough places to sit and wait at the lobby, and cold drinks to offer for hotel guests. We got an upgrade for our room and that was a pleasant surprise - and a nice little boost for a great stay. Bad: The check-in per person or family was unusually long and it wasn’t clear if there could be one queue or more. The main check-in queue was forming while some people just walked up to the nearby counter for the same service without any consideration to others who have waited in the line. The pool can be crowded and rowdy with people depending on when you choose to use it, but it doesn’t have to ruin the experience altogether. During our stay, the usual room service wore off on Day 2 when the coffee/tea weren’t replenished, same happened with the hand soap in the bathroom.

Stayed here for 5 nights during the Hungarian GP and honestly couldn’t fault the place even though the hotel was at full capacity. The staff were helpful, check in and out was super quick, there was always somewhere to sit during breakfast and plenty of choice (hot and cold) and enjoyed everything I had. Had dinner at the hotel on my last night and that was also nice! The hotel room itself was spacious and clean and I found the bed really comfortable, also a good amount of sockets. Only a few minor first world gripes, no iron or ironing board but not a big deal as I always travel with a steamer. The shower pressure in my room was low, but my friend on the same floor said hers was fine, so it might just be luck of the draw! If I’m staying for 5 nights, I’d LOVE 5 nights worth of coffee sachets and creamers but again I brought my own instant coffee etc. Got back from the track quite late and thought I’d find some solace in the vending machine but it had pretty much been depleted but again might have just been poor timing on my part. Overall excellent stay and in a great location, would absolutely stay here again if returning to Budapest.

I come to the Danubius Budapest every year as part of a sporting event and am always very satisfied. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and well-maintained. The completely newly renovated lobby is particularly impressive, giving the hotel a modern and inviting atmosphere. Overall, highly recommended – I am happy to return!

Good: The facilities and the room where very comfortable and had everything I needed very good Bad: The only thing I thought was a bit of a let down was the size of the pool as when I went to use it it was very busy and with the size of the hotel I felt it should have maybe been a bit bigger.

So clean and organized with very kind and helpful staff. I’m so pleased for getting this place.

Good: Really close to metro and bus station. A bit older hotel but kept clean and everything was as advertised. Didn't have time to try the gym and pool but breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.

If you are going for a concert in Arena in Budapest, there is no better place to stay at!!!

The hotel is great. Location is excellent near the Budapest Keleti station and there is the metro M2 that connects the hotel to the city centre. The room has the TV that works. The oregano restaurant has a huge variety of the food like pancakes and different fruit. There is also a bistro today that is expensive but the chocolate cake is delicious. The sauna is relaxing after the long walk in Budapest and after sauna you can cool down in the pool. You can also go to the gym. The reception staff is very helpful and they told us what are the must visits in Budapest.The hotel is modern and cozy and the view from the 5th floor is beautiful the bathroom is ok but we heard the blob sound sometimes. My room had a balcony.
