Good: Central location, exceptionally clean and cosy room, and great breakfast interms of quality and variety. I would definitely love to stay at this place again. Bad: It's not really too bad, but I believe the reception staff can smile a little more and show more energy in their work.. I arrived around 20hrs and I had to wait for approx 20mins to be checked-in because the 2 receptionists on duty were busy checking in some groups that arrived before. May be it will be a good idea to have more receptionists on duty or find a more efficient way of registering groups to avoid delays at the reception desk. The staff at the breakfast were great. For the two breakfasts I had there, they were always welcoming and smiling.

Great location, right next to the Keleti Train station. Beautiful view of the station. The hotel is a little old, but clean and the bed is very comfortable. Everyone is very friendly and kind. The breakfast buffe is a must. Everything is clean, and great choices of food. We highly recommend this place and we did and will stay here again. Thank you

Good: The hotel is in the center, close to the beautiful keleti train station. City center is 20 minutes approx on foot, and there is a metro station just outside. Breakfast was amazing, and the staff was very kind. Totally recommended! Thank you for the stay! Bad: Since it is near a train + metro station, the area of the hotel is quite dirty, with homeless and beggars.

Good: Location - very well placed near teh railway station for when we arrived and left Budapest, and near a main metro station for exploring the city. It was also only a short walk from teh football ground where the rock concert we had booked was taking place. Staff. Very welcoming even in spite of our arriving after midnight due to significant delays ('Verspaetung') on Austrian and German trains. Bad: Surrounding streets were sleazy at night but not particularly threatening. Walking back to the hotel at midnight was interesting.

Good: Hotel is very accessible to public transportation including metro and train station and buses. Staffs was very nice.

Bad: The Eggs that were in the water, cleaned, and had hlorca gist, in my opinion should not be cleaned and kept in the water.

Was problems with shower function, old. ROM was in general good, everything was good. But small details like a showehead, can be little annoying on a short break.

Good: Excellent breakfast, all fresh and delicious. Comfy beds.

Good: 2min walk from the train station, convenient location. Check in was very smooth even though the lobby was full with guests. Receptionists and all employees are very nice and attentive. Bad: Pillows are a bit hard.

Very great place! The staff was so helpful! Especially Nándor at the reception was very nice and helped us through some trouble we had at another hotel. The room was big and fully equipped with everything necessary and the breakfast was even better! Also, they have great goulash soup at the hotel restaurant. Furthermore they offer laundry service. This was so great for us, and the stay was within a very good price range. Would definitely go again!

Good: Breakfast excellent. The room was nice and clean. Bad: Unfortunately, the cover mattress topper was too small for the bed, and because I am a torn and toss sleeper the topper was sliding every night, which was quite uncomfortable.

Good: Location is good, close to the train station Keleti. We used this train sation to go to Györ and Eger. You can also reach to the city center by using metro Keleti, very close to Danubius Hotel. The room is clean and enough big. Personel is very helpful. The price for this hotel 4 stars is convenient. If I return next time to Budapest, I can choose again this hotel.

Good: Hotel's location it was really convinient, at least for us that we like walking. It is close to the Heroe's square and Adrasy street and about 2 km from Danube river, St. Stephan Basilika. Bad: It may need some kind of ferniture renovation.

Good: the hotel was good for the price paid , breakfast was good , very close to metro and easy access. many options for food joints at walking distance. Bad: its a old property however I will book it again if get same price everything else was very good

Good: - I had a nice and bright room on the 4th floor, with great views over the plaza and Keleti railway station; - breakfast was excellent, I couldn't stop stuffing my face; - location s simply unbeatable; - Great and very friendly people in reception, always trying to do an extra effort to make you feel comfortable; - souvenir shop inside is a nice touch, if you ran off time and didn't buy some small goodies to bring back hime; - Spar and Lidl are nearby, if someone needs to have snacks in the room all the day round; - stable and good WiFi connection all over the Hotel; - luggage room available, so you are able to leave your luggage while expecting to check in, and it is safely stored and guarded by Hotel personnel. - toiletries like soap, gel and shampoos, as well as sewing kit, shower caps and cleaner for shoes were very useful. Great and comfortable stay and very pleasant experience about Danubius Hungary City Center Hotel. 👏👍👌

Good: Staff is really great, helpful and more then willing to help with needed information. Room was perfect, large enought for 2 adults and a child. Perfectly clean. Breakfast offer is worth extra money - very rich and with a lot of options for everyone. Food is delicious. Location is perfect. Bad: We had a small problem only with one thing: rooms are warm. Hotel have air condition from the begining of the May. Window opened during the night would have solved that issue, but we were on the sixth floor so we could not keep the window open during the night because of a small child. Hotel offered us a new room on the 2nd floor right away, but we figured out that it was still to high to risk to have the window open during over night. But anyhow - the gesture and offer is appreciated. It is definitely not something that would keep us away from the hotel in the future.

It’s a big hotel close to the keleti train station. It has a bus stop right in front of the hotel which is pretty convenient.

Good: The receptionist was a bit surprised that we were a male couple who wanted a double bed, but he had no problem with that. 😁 The room was fine, quiet (none of the noise from the street). Good: Superb hotel with nice decoration and is close to the city center. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel, which connects to the airport, and a metro stop in very close proximity to the hotel. The hotel is also close to Keleti Station with a train connection to Vienna and other EU cities. The room was enormous and clean, bathroom was big and nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious and with very good choices to start the day. Highly recommend this hotel for Budapest city breaks, especially for family travelers. Thank you for a pleasant stay! Good: Very nice location of the hotel, close to one of the train stations, bus stop is right by the exit of the hotel, so it is extremely easy to reach the touristy spots. A short walk to a decently sized mall, if you are into shopping.

Good: From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile by the friendly staff at the reception desk. They were helpful in answering any questions I had and even provided me with some great recommendations for local attractions and restaurants.
