Good: the location was great, right by the station, shops and some bars. The room was a very good size, the room was clean and adequate for what we needed. Bad: The air conditioning was not very good at all and we were often very hot over night. We opened the window but it’s quite a busy street so that let a lot of noise in.

Good: Our holiday in this hotel was perfect! Receptionists and staff are polite, proffessional and frendly. We got superior room, so comfort and nice, very clean with beautiful view on Budapest. In front of hotel, at right side you can take a bus number 5 and 7 and after 4 stops you are in city center, next to Vaci street. Good: The hotel has a very convenient location. You can walk to the city center. You can take the subway or other transport. Even with the extra bed, the room was spacious enough. Bad: Big problems with parking. The hotel staff ignored my request for a week to reserve parking for our car, and then said that everything was taken. Well at least they advised paid parking near the hotel

Good: we go news that the hotel was closed, we were provided with options foe our stay. we chose Astoria since the location was superb, next to most famous landmarks, venues and clubs. We paid the price we were told for this hotel and even breakfast was included. The staff was very helpful, nice breakfast, comfortable rooms.

Good: The position of the hotel was excellent, the staff was nice, the breakfast was good, the room was clean and big enough for two pupils, the bed was comfortable, the room was quiet (windows at the inner yard), the four elevators were sufficient, so we didn't need to wait. Bad: The hotel is a bit old, and some of the items in room were used. Also, the room was on the inner yard, so it was a bit darken.

Good: The friendliest and most helpful staff I could imagine! They were super nice, I got the room with my dog 3 hours before the official check-in time, and they also upgraded the room free of charge(!!!) because the one I booked would have been too small for my dog and me (but that was the only one under Pet policy > View room options). And the bed and pillow is extremely comfortable! Definitely gonna stay here again! Bad: I prefer taking a shower than a bath, and I always had to open the tab a bit more, or close it back a bit so the water would come with the same intensity (+ even though I used hot water only it was lukewarm).

We stayed there for two nights in May 2019. Hotel is very good. Rooms are large and well equipped. Charges are very economical compared to other hotels. We were with 'Make My Trip' group from Delhi. We enjoyed our daily breakfast at their restaurant with lots of options freely available. I stayed at many good hotels around the globe but have never experienced such a good breakfast early in the morning, delicious and nutritious as well. Hotel staff are very helping in nature. Transport facility is wonderful. Best part staying here you will meet lots of travelers from the globe coming to Budapest as it's a famous place to stay. Tourist here are friendly and greet you smilingly. I met a Greek priest and his family who are very loving and friendly to us. Budapest is very beautiful city and we regret that we were with group hence couldn't stay for longer. Next time we will stay in this hotel at least for five days. I miss bodapest and this hotel very much. I wish this city and Hungary a safe time in this pandemic period.

Good: close to subway and train station. Well conserved. Nice staff. Room was well equipped. Bed, linens and pillows were very comfortable. Bad: Shower curtains were too long so it was very easy to have an accident when taking shower.

I loved it! The hotel is in a very good location, the lady who checked me in was delightful and smiley. I was very impressed with the room cleanliness, it was literally spotless! Even the next day, a young man from housekeeping cleaned my room, and I was very happy with how he did it, he refilled the tea/coffee etc as well, which was nice. Haven't tried breakfast at the hotel, and to be honest, I think 12 euros is way too much for it, especially in a country like Hungary, I can get a full English breakfast in a 4-star hotel in London for the same price, but then it is London (London prices!) and it is a full breakfast too! I can easily go outside anywhere in Budapest and have a filling breakfast for a fraction of that amount. So if I were you, I would consider reducing the prices for breakfast, maybe 8 euros ? I stayed in a hotel in Marseille and they were charging 7 euros for a lovely breakfast selection. Up to you! But I still enjoyed my stay. Thank you.

Good: Convenient location, easy connection with all points of interest in the town via bus or metro (3-4 stops). Had all the amenities of a 4-star hotel. Good breakfast. There are supermarkets and 24h mini markets around. Hotel is on a main avenue, in a well lighted area. Bad: The room, especially the bathroom should have been cleaner. We had to wipe the surfaces ourselves.
